The renamed PURSUON business will focus on developing ROAMEO as autonomous security technology moves into more enterprise environments
Detroit, Michigan, 25 August 2026 – Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, or AITX, is giving its autonomous mobile security business a new identity as the company looks to expand the role of robotics and artificial intelligence in enterprise security. The company has renamed its wholly owned subsidiary Robotic Assistance Devices Mobile, previously known as RAD M, to PURSUON. The change took effect after the necessary amendments were filed with the Nevada Secretary of State on August 21.
The name change is intended to give the business a clearer identity as its flagship ROAMEO autonomous mobile security vehicle moves from development into active commercial environments. AITX said the restructuring does not change ownership, capital structure, or the number of securities issued. PURSUON remains fully owned by AITX, while ROAMEO will continue to operate under its existing product name.
ROAMEO is designed to provide mobile security support across large outdoor areas where continuous monitoring can be difficult. The autonomous vehicle combines navigation technology with artificial intelligence-based detection, live video, two-way communication, and an AI system called SARA, or Speaking Autonomous Responsive Agent. The platform is designed to conduct scheduled and on-demand patrols while identifying situations that may require attention.
The technology is already moving beyond demonstrations. According to AITX, ROAMEO is operating in enterprise environments, while additional units are in transit or under contract. Potential applications include logistics facilities, healthcare campuses, corporate properties and other large sites that require regular security monitoring.
For businesses, autonomous mobile security can offer a way to expand surveillance coverage without relying entirely on conventional security teams. Mobile robots can repeatedly patrol defined areas, collect visual information and communicate with people on site. When combined with AI, these systems can also help identify events and send information to security personnel for further action.
The new PURSUON identity reflects this shift in the company’s strategy. AITX explained that RAD M originally served as the mobile robotics division within the wider RAD organization. As ROAMEO developed into a product intended for real-world enterprise use, the company decided that a dedicated business identity would better represent its focus on autonomous mobile security.
Despite the new name, the commercial structure surrounding ROAMEO will remain largely unchanged. Robotic Assistance Devices, or RAD, will continue as the product’s exclusive distributor. Customers and channel partners will therefore continue to access ROAMEO through the established distribution network.
The development comes as companies across the security industry explore AI-powered automation for monitoring, incident detection and facility protection. Autonomous security robots are particularly suited to large environments such as warehouses, logistics centers, construction sites, healthcare campuses and industrial facilities, where covering extensive areas can require significant resources.
AITX has also been expanding its wider autonomous security portfolio. Recent activity from RAD includes deployments and orders involving its ROSA and RIO security systems, with applications ranging from property management to data center construction. These developments show the company’s broader effort to build a technology-driven security ecosystem rather than rely on a single robotic platform.
For PURSUON, the next stage will be about turning ROAMEO’s existing enterprise presence into a broader commercial opportunity. The company will need to demonstrate that autonomous mobile security can operate reliably across different environments while delivering practical value to customers.
As businesses increasingly explore robotics, computer vision, and artificial intelligence for physical security, PURSUON’s new identity places AITX’s mobile robotics operation at the center of that emerging market. The rebranding itself does not change the technology, but it signals a clearer focus on building autonomous security solutions designed for real-world enterprise use.
